Studio Linse’s design for the refit of “de Eetzaal” in the Royal Industrieele Groote Club (the Royal IGC) led to a restaurant that feels like it’s always been there yet fresh and new. Starting out as a gentlemen’s society club over a hundred years ago the IGC now is a modern club located in an important listed building in the very heart of Amsterdam, the Dam, where once it all started.

New carpeting and furniture, bespoke woven wallpapers, custom designed benches and an iconic cabinet holding a beautiful silver collection and wonderful wines: a brand new place that still feels like home to the staff and the members and their guests.
